  1. Device management allows you to reset the firewall configuration to factory default, check the firmware versions currently installed, access the advanced shell, and flush reports stored on the appliance. Sophos Firewall keeps the previous firmware available on the appliance to allow for easy rollback without the need to reimage the appliance.

Sophos Mobile Security

  1. Under Device management, click Advanced settings and choose the communication settings from the options.
    • Firewall manager will push configuration changes to the firewall
    • Device will fetch configuration changes from the firewall manager
  2. Specify a port in HTTPS port on firewall manager over which configuration updates should be sent.
  3. Select the protocol in Communication Heartbeat protocol to specify how keep-alive information will be sent to Sophos Firewall Manager.
    Note We recommend that you set the Heartbeat protocol to HTTPS port 443.
